We talk a lot about faith, and yet we find it is one of most difficult concepts to make a part of our everyday life. We are so tied in and distracted by the fleshly world, which really is Satan’s world, that we forget to trust in The Most High first and believe the promises he has given us in Scripture to those who follow and believe.

Matthew 6 :33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

We need to stop looking and listening to what we see on reality TV, magazines, media, friends etc say what a real woman is, as you can be sure it’s of the world excluding the spiritual traits in favor of vanity. The greatest description I ever found was of a female prophet teaching her son in the Bible what to look for in a virtuous woman just like Sarah, Leah, Rachael and Zipporah we mentioned earlier. If you truly want to live up to your role as the Daughter of Zion you were created to be, then you must walk in the traits of a virtuous woman wholeheartedly and just watch how your life turns around for the better, not to mention you will then truly be serving The most high as he has a different take on what is morally acceptable and virtuous for women, he does not look upon our status in society or material wealth. His concern is, are we keeping his laws, statures and commandments, are we a helpmeet woman to our husbands, are we walking in the spirit or living in the flesh?

The words of King Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him: Proverbs 31:10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life Read the rest of this entry

Teaching

There are many debates on the female role within the church and I think this is mainly due to the teachings of Timothy. Lets really dive in and find out what The Most High says about the female role and what responsibility has he given us when it comes to teaching, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised and encouraged about how we can participate. As a matter of fact, women are the first teachers of children, this is such an important role ladies, don’t leave this up to TV, schools and their friends and peers, the early ages of a child’s life effect how it will carry on and behave as well as the decisions he or she will make in adulthood. Don’t leave to chance your child’s biblical education to others or they could loose their eternal afterlife, that’s how serous it is. Here we see Moses speaking with Israel when he leads them out of Egypt and gives them new laws and commandments.

Deuteronomy 4:10 Specially the day that thou stoodest before the Lord thy God in Horeb, when the Lord said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children. SEX PT6:

Sex is an important topic to mention as The Most High holds very sacred how we treat and use our bodies, especially if you are a Daughter Of Zion:

Deuteronomy 23:17-18 17 There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.18 Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the Lord thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the Lord thy God.

There is a very popular trend and it’s almost glamorized in today’s world as just another form of entertainment! I’m talking about prostitution, call girls, video models that participate in sexual acts or those who sleep their ways to the top in professions or positions to get what they want. Our bodies are for glorifying The Most High and are to be shared with our husbands only. It’s easy for a woman to use her body and looks to manipulate men into getting what they want. And we cannot underestimate the power of sex and how it can bring down even the most powerful of men:

proverbs 31 3 Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.
It’s a common way for ladies to get what we want or to make fast money and a lot of it. Again these are desperate times for many, we need a lot of money to survive and most girls who choose this route will often say their doing it to pay for collage or university fees, to help feed their children, to keep a roof over their heads etc. Lets also not be fooled, a lot of ladies are choosing this route because its easy money, they want to live a glamorous life, with a nice car, house, designer clothes, mingling with men who have extreme amounts of money, power and status. It may not even be prostitution, you may just be out looking for a sugar daddy to take care of you, shower you with expensive gifts, holidays etc in exchange for your company, whilst you treat him like a boyfriend but still have your own life on the side. For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God above all the nations that are upon the earth!

Can we even fathom the greatness of this statement?

In an attempt we have to go back, Exodus 24:3 And Moses came and told the people all the words of the Lord, and all the Judgements : and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the Lord hath said we will do…..Exodus 24:8 And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these words.

black men bible
Deuteronomy 13: 2 For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
Deuteronomy 7:7 The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor chose you, because you were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people : 8 But because the Lord loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of the Pharaoh King of Egypt. 9 Know therefore the the Lord thy God, he is God, the Faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
Although we were not physically there with Moses on Mount Sinai, we have to realise the power of the oath our forefathers took for us and the blood that bound us to it, by continuing to carry out the Laws Statues and Commandments that they swore by on that day. Through time we as man may have lost our way and forgotten however thankfully The Most High has not forgotten his promise.

In a world that promotes forgetting the past and looks to the future, it has never been more important to look back and study what our forefathers had done and also what some of them didn’t do in order to be in goodness and favour of God or be kept in bondage of the modern day Pharaoh!

Battle_Henry Lee_HEAVEN_SENT_(BOY)

Now moving on to children. Those who are blessed enough to have the little bundles of joy, we must also rear them in the way of The Most High. I don’t know about you, but I was brought up with discipline with a capital D. But in today’s laws and ways, we are looked on as bad parents or even imprisoned if we spank our children, can you imagine the craziness of kids that are running around with that kind of power? Mayhem waiting to happen. You can see how so many kids talk to their parents today, with total disrespect. Now I’m not saying all kids are the same, many parents keep great discipline, but on a whole many parents are tired and have so many things to worry about in the world that households are falling apart and children have no respect for adults or authority. This is one of the things we as a nation of black people kept and were well known for. We can all pretty much look back and remember a story or two of how we got severely punished by Mum or worse Dad! I believe this was purposefully done so we can no longer rear our kids in the way the most High wants us to. Now were not talking child abuse, but we are talking spare the rod.
Isaiah 3:12 As for my people, children are their oppressors,

I mean how can a child have the power of the law of this world in their hand, how is a parent suppose to have a child fear them when they have no power to discipline? This is Satan working his magic again. My mum only had to say…I’m telling your dad and that was enough for us!

Proverbs 23:13 Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.

Yes mothers your child will not die or hate you forever if you spank them. The Bible even says if you love your child you will do this and if you hate your child you will not, that’s how serious we are to take discipline on our children. If you fear no repercussions you wont understand not to do wrong or what is bad for you. Again that’s why we are to also fear the lord as his children, so we don’t end up on the left hand side, which is Satan’s side (more on that black men of the bible)

For those of us who have parents especially from traditional backgrounds we went through a lot of disciple, but most of us I’m sure turned out to be respectful good mannered people. A relationship with parents is something that is very important to God, if we can’t learn to fear and respect our parents, how can we do the same for the Most High? After all he is our father in heaven. Remember earlier, this was also something Willie Lynch used against us.

Matthew 15:4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. Read the rest of this entry

black_arguing_couple

Now moving on to another thing which many black women are “accused of” snapping fingers, calling out guys on what they should be doing, telling people what we wont stand for mmmhhhmmm. We don’t do that….do we?? Let’s face it, even The Most High called us out on it, so it must be true to an extent?: Remember “the daughters of Zion are haughty”. Ooops yes that was us! Well that’s because people are always all up in our business or men aint acting right or what ever the reason, right? We need to take a breath and get ourselves in sync. Especially with our men, we cannot be talking to our men like that and still think were serving or have favor with our father The Most High.

Isaiah 3:12 As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they, which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.   Children and women cannot have authority to lead over men, it causes them to make grave mistakes, and we only have to look at Adam and Eve for this. Have you ever wondered why black women have a high rate of having their men leave? We have the highest rate of single baby mothers, not to mention destructive relationships and family breakdowns. What are we doing that’s making our men leave? It’s right there in the bible, Yep, the answer is right there. Again, its part of the curse were going through because of our rebellion & fall: Deuteronomy 28: 54 So that the man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave: Deuteronomy 28:56 The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter,

That’s pretty deep stuff! So its not just because he’s a poor excuse for a man and she is a trifling baby momma, it’s a curse set upon us from God, remember he chose us as his people but because we turned our backs on him and followed other false God’s and followed the heathen, this along with many other curses are our punishment. You can find the rest of the curses our people are dealing with in Deuteronomy 28 (please see also black men of the bible DVD). Why hasn’t this ever been outlined to us? After connecting the dots and doing even more research, this can be traced back to our slavery which again was part of how our curses were carried out to us. Another sure sign of whom The Most High’s chosen people are;   Deuteronomy 28:45 Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:48 Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the Lord shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee. So the curse of slavery came upon us and the other nations saw this as their opportunity to over rule us and take away the truth of who we really were.

A hugely disturbing letter written from the narration of Willie Lynch, the mastermind behind “How To Make a Slave” outlines the atrocities we were subjected to, to beat out our knowledge and diminish our spirit so we forget who we really are and to reduce us to nothing more than laborious animals to be used and abused without remorse. Willie Lynch delivered his speech on the bank of the James River in the colony of Virginia in 1712. Lynch was a British slave owner in the West Indies. He was invited to the colony of Virginia in 1712 to teach his methods to slave owners there. The term “lynching” (hanging) is derived from his last name! slaves in chains The Nigger Marriage We breed two nigger males with two nigger females. Then we take the nigger males away from them and keep them moving and working. Say one nigger female bears a nigger female and the other bears a nigger male. Both nigger females being without influence of the nigger male image, frozen with an independent psychology, will raise their offspring into reverse positions. The one with the female offspring will teach her to be like herself, independent and negotiable (we negotiate with her, through her, by her, we negotiate her at will). The one with the nigger male offspring, she being frozen with a subconscious fear for his life, will raise him to be mentally dependent and weak, but physically strong, in other words, body over mind. Now in a few years when these two offspring’s become fertile for early reproduction we will mate and breed them and continue the cycle. We reversed nature by burning and pulling a civilized nigger apart and bull whipping the other to the point of death, all in her presence. By her being left alone, unprotected, with the male image destroyed, the ordeal caused her to move from her psychological dependent state to a frozen independent state. Read the rest of this entry

Relationships PT3:

pt1
pt2

I guess that leads us nicely into, why we make such an effort as women? To attract a man and have him think of us as the baddest chick of course. I’m sure we’ve all dreamt of the day, we find that man we’ve fantasized about, strong, romantic; handsome, great clothes, money etc. Then he’ll get down on one knee after a really amazing night out together and tell us how he can’t live without us, show us a ring and we’ll cry yes I do and we’ll live happily ever after!! This is how I’ve always known it to be and that’s how the world says it should be done. But I guess were starting to realize that what the world tells us and what The Most High actually says is two very different things. So how does the bible tell us man and women are suppose to be in a relationship/marriage? Because lets face it men and women think they are equals in all things but to my amazement and everything we are taught, here is why God made women in the first place.

black couple, marriage

Genesis 2:18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. 21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

creation-of-woman-edwin-lester

I know a lot of ladies who may be chocking at this concept of being a mans helpmeet, but we must get truth right to begin with so we can get ourselves aligned and back on track to The Most Highs original intentions, and yes it does go against everything in the modern and western world especially with equal rights, women’s lib and all that equality stuff of today. BUT, that’s how our CREATOR made it, for us to be mans helper, but as we get deeper into the story we will see how this will benefit us and make us stronger than anything the world can offer or tell us is a better way. So does this mean we are bound as a man’s slave and should be chained to the kitchen sink only? not at all: Read the rest of this entry

BLACK WOMEN OF THE BIBLE PT2

Beauty
 see part 1 here

hair-weaves-1

So, where’s the best place to start off this story? Beauty, lets start off here as it begins very young for us, right ladies! As a young girl there were many things that plagued my thinking and longing. I don’t know if any you out there experienced this but I had very short Afro hair as a girl. I would fantasies after watching TV or girls at school and long to feel my hair blow in the wind, toss it around, style it in many different ways, but I couldn’t. So I would put a towel or skirt on my head and act like I had long hair, it felt great for a time to pretend. As a woman that need was still strongly there, but this time I had options, relaxer, perms, wigs, weaves, I tried them all, believe me, it felt great. Finally I felt feminine and beautiful. But then I looked and thought, hmmm, why can every other nation of women grow their hair whilst us black ladies have shops on every corner selling us fake hair, what the heck is going on???
Oh my gosh! There was an answer finally, live and in the bible, the last place I would have thought to look…

black woman long hair

1 Corinthians 11:15 But, if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

So this would explain why we crave to have long hair, it is given to us for beauty and glory, so why the heck don’t we have it?…..

Isaiah 3:16-17 Moreover the Lord saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet: 17 Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion  Isaiah 3:24 and instead of well set hair, baldness;

black woman hair loss, baldness Isaiah 3:24

Is this saying what I think it is? God has put a curse on us ladies because we think, excuse the pun, “were all that” haughty to be precise which means: dictionary definition: disdainfully proud; snobbish and scornfully arrogant. Now were not talking about individuals here, we all know there are perfectly righteous sisters out there with some “good hair”, but as a nation, black women are experiencing all kinds of problems when it comes to hair like scabs, thinning hair, slow growth, constant breakage especially round the hair line and so on, so instead of “instead of well set hair” we are plagued with problems because Read the rest of this entry
